Wedding Weekends
...the owners Henrietta and Matt provided us with exceptional service, guidance, and attention. They went above and beyond in every aspect...Matt, also the chef, executed the food flawlessly to give our guests the most delicious appetizers and dinner...I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a beautiful stress-free event. You’ll be in good hands!

Our guests loved the food from appetizers, to mains, to specialty cocktails/mocktails and the open bar. We got so many compliments on the space, which felt homey enough to accommodate families with small children, yet hip enough to stand out.

The decor is gorgeous, just the right mix of trendy, eclectic, and artistic to have gorgeous, Instagram/magazine-worthy views every way you turn...The rehearsal dinner was absolutely magical - drinks by the gorgeous outdoor bar and chic patio followed by a long farm table with bud vases and perfect upstate summer evening vibes, incredible food from Matt who is a true culinary talent, a gorgeous signature cocktail and every detail coordinated seamlessly by Henrietta...10/10 would recommend to everyone for ambiance, team, food, and literally everything.

Where do I begin?! This is the most beautiful, well-designed, thoughtfully decorated, amazing venue...Add on to that: the drinks and food were INCREDIBLE. All my guests were raving about the food...if you're looking for rustic, natural, vintage styles with lots of personality and room to create your vision, Vanderbilt is THE option.

The days leading up to the wedding were spent playing pool and making delicious home-cooked meals in the commercial kitchen, which had everything that we needed. It was truly a special experience having both of our families together creating wonderful memories the days leading up to our wedding...Henrietta & Matt helped us customize our perfect food/drink menus...There were so many amazing options to pick from...much more exciting than your typical wedding menu. Everything was delicious - our guests still rave about the food.

The rooms are spacious and well kept and our family was extremely comfortable during their stay. The dinner was incredible, with thoughtful planning and absolutely delicious food. The guests were raving about it for days! The service was also impeccable. I would highly recommend the Vanderbilt Lakeside for any event: wedding, Rehearsal Dinner, family reunion, whatever life event you are celebrating.

...I wanted an intimate setting that would allow us to personalize our event and spend extra time with our closest family and friends. Vanderbilt did just that and SO much more. We cannot recommend this venue enough for any special event or get together. The food, drinks, and service at Vanderbilt are something that you will not get at a more traditional venue or event space...

...The Vanderbilt Lakeside and the owners are true gems!...The rooms were comfortable, the food was spectacular, and the their flexibility with every detail made the entire experience feel as personal as it was special...My husband and I had zero stress and felt like everything was under control…I could not tell you enough how amazing and friendly everyone was, and how happy our guests were. 10/10 would recommend.

What was great about this experience was that it felt very personal - Henrietta and Matt worked with us personally to create the perfect Mediterranean tapas menu and to ensure everything was set up in the space before our big weekend.

This was a beautiful venue with remarkable views, clean premises, and hospitable staff. I cannot imagine a better venue for our wedding. It was truly wonderful.

Henrietta & Matt are true hospitality specialists. They listened and anticipated the needs of our multigenerational family’s recent weeklong stay, from suggestions for activities to accommodating all sorts of dietary needs/restrictions.

Henrietta and Matt have poured so much intention into the experience that is evident in every detail of the venue - from the beautiful decor and atmosphere to the most incredible food and beverages that all of our guests raved about...The catered meals are optional at an additional fee but guests should absolutely take advantage of this offering…if your group has foodies, this will surely be the highlight of your experience at the house.

There are lots of spaces for socializing, and I think we spent time in each of the zones. We also got a meal prepared by the owners and one of my friends noted that it was one of the top five meals he had ever eaten!

...the atmosphere is amazing, shuffleboard and pool kept everyone entertained, and there are several seating areas set up for conversation. The food and service were great, the planning of the party was straightforward and I received quick thorough replies to all of my questions. Great place for a staff night out!

Let's talk about the dinner. What??? I would rate the food more than 5 stars. There was so much, and every bite was SO tasty that we will talk about that dinner for a long time.
My friends and I are talking about doing this every year.

I highly recommend staying here if you have a group of people that love being together and appreciate a well thought out space. I can also say that we had a dinner catered by the owners and it was gorgeous. Everything was made by hand, we had some featured cocktails, it was absolutely perfect.
