Overlooking a 20-acre lake in the Village of Philmont, just outside of Hudson, NY, the 6000 square foot historic house feels unexpectedly secluded. Originally a railroad hotel built in the 1860s by the Vanderbilt family, the space has been newly reimagined, marrying the formal elegance of a Victorian-era home with the laid back, rustic feel of a lake house.

Wainscoting, tall tin ceilings, tons of natural light, wood beams, and vintage-inspired wallpaper surround an eclectic blend of furnishings, and an abundance of green plants, books, games, and unique objects.

Features include 8 Bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, located above large and relaxing gathering spaces:

The Bar Room, The Game Room, The Sun Room, The Parlor, and The Kitchen.

Outside you'll find the oversized outdoor Deck, overlooking an expansive Yard with wildflowers, mature trees, and over 550 feet of lake frontage. Just across the way you can spy wildlife, including herons, and a family of eagles.

Custom Food and Bar Packages Are Available For All Bookings.

Events of all sizes are welcomed!
